BUILDING PERMITS

Building permits are required in the City of Alma for all types of constrution, reconstruction & demolition.  Citizens should be aware that failure to obtain the proper permit will result in a fine of $65 and a tripling of the original permit fee.  Permits in the Alma Historic District require additional review.

LICENSING

Cat & Dog License Requirements

Licensing required when moving to Alma.

Licensing must be renewed annually by March 31st.

Neutered/Spayed License Fee:          $8

Unneutered/Unspayed License Fee:  $15

Copy of current rabies vaccination required at time of licensing.
