Accepted Materials For Recycling:
Remember to take only clean & dry materials, complete list of acceptable recycling items is at available at Alma City Hall.

Aluminum & Foil

Glass Bottles & Jars: remove caps & rings, separate glass (clear, brown, green)

Boxboard & Cardboard

Plastic Bottles

Tin Cans: remove labels, no need to flatten

Special Items: motor oil, used oil filters (small fee), lead acid batteries, fluorescent bulbs (small fee, do not break, place in packing box from new bulbs).

Paper: put newspaper, office paper, magazines in brown paper bag or tie with string; separte newspaper & magazines.
Non-Accepted Materials:
Light bulbs, dishes, glasses, ceramics, waxed of 12 Pac containers, windows, motor oil containers, antifreeze or other contaminates.
