We LOVE late autumn in Alma, Wisconsin!  Around every corner you'll encounter the migration of birds and waterfowl down the Mississippi Flyway. With life on the Mississippi River, the Mississippi backwaters and the Chippewa, Buffalo & Trempealeau Rivers we are blessed to be surrounded by water and the Upper Mississippi River National Wildlife & Fish Refuge.

27th ANNUAL QUILT SHOW is a tradition in Alma celebrating the art of quilting and what it means to our local community!
Weekends in November & December bring lots of events of the holiday season, Main Street shopping specials and a true old-fashioned community Christmas!
FISHING FROM THE FLOAT, A DOCK OR A BOAT  So much water, so many opportunities to satisfy the angler's need to fish.  Many Mississippi River backwater spots are available as well as the Great Alma Fishing Float.  You will need a Wisconsin fishing license.  If you are on the Fishing Float a Minnesota fishing license is valid. Open through October 31st!
HIKING A TRAIL  Mossy Hollow Trail or Buena Vista Trail are great City trails and offer great views and lots of bird watcing.  You won't be disappointed!
BACK ROAD DRIVING  Base your ride in Alma WI and venture out into Buffalo County.  It's a real treat whether you are on a bike or in a car.
